Richard Russell
Richard teaches guitar for Solihull Music Service.
In his role he teaches the electric and acoustc guitar to classes and individuals.
He has been teaching for 10 years.
Richard initially started teaching with the service as maternity cover and now teaches at 13 schools.
He started as a student of Solihull Music Service in one of the local secondary schools.
As well as teaching he play gigs with original bands and as part of a function band.
Richard says: “I love being able to do something I love doing and getting to inspire around 400 kids a week. It’s great to teach the lesson that they all look forward to”.
